Jennifer has more than 2 decades of experience helping children overcome challenges they face when it comes to eating. Using her extensive knowledge of learning, sensory processing, attachment, and motor skill development, Jennifer facilitates children's abilities to trust, understand and relate to food now and long into the future. Coaching parents into confidence around feeding their kids and family mealtimes brings her great joy and impactful results to families she serves. Jennifer supports families virtually and in-person through family mealtime coaching, remote feeding therapy, and the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program.

Jennifer Berry

Heidi is a self-proclaimed “research geek” who has over 30 years of practical experience in working with children who have developmental and feeding challenges. Relying on her training in communication, feeding and swallowing, and childhood development, Heidi helps children develop a trusting relationship with food that allows their skills to flourish. She loves helping children and families work together to develop happy and healthy mealtime communication and habits that will last and grow as they do. Heidi has a specialty certification in swallowing (BCS-S) and is a Certified Lactation Counselor.  She supports families virtually and in-person through family mealtime coaching, remote responsive feeding therapy, and the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program.

Jamie Hinchey

Jamie is a certified early intervention specialist and has a vast amount of experience helping children and families in their most natural environment. Jamie has extensive knowledge and practice in responsive feeding strategies, oral motor skill development, and coaching families to build attachment and trust into their family mealtimes. She works closely with families to help rebuild their own confidence around mealtimes and restore their child's relationship with food. Jamie is a member of the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program. She also supports families and children through feeding therapy and family mealtime coaching, both virtually and in-person.

Abby Dornan

Abby received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She has extensive training and experience working with families to support children in transitioning to oral eating and developing a positive relationship with food. Abby has worked with children and their families in a variety of settings, including homes, private practices, schools, clinics, and hospitals. She is passionate about helping children reach their full potential by empowering parents to recognize their child’s strengths and challenges through a family-centered approach that incorporates coaching and play-based models. Abby is a member of the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Tube Weaning team, where she supports families both in-person and virtually through tube weaning, responsive feeding therapy, and family mealtime coaching.

Krystina is a trained pediatric feeding and tube weaning specialist. She works with children and their families to develop critical feeding and swallowing skills safely within the context of family mealtimes utilizing responsive feeding techniques. She enjoys thinking creatively to develop an individualized therapy plan with a child’s family that is both meaningful and functional.  Krystina has worked in a variety of settings with children and families from all over the world and has extensive experience in the intensive therapy model, teletherapy, early childhood coaching approach, and natural learning environment practices. She has additional education in positive psychology and trauma-informed care.

Erin worked as a nurse nearly 20 years before joining Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics as their Program Coordinator. Erin has extensive experience working with feeding tubes of all kinds, which allows her to empathize with patients and families in a different way. It also provided a certain knowledge and skill set helpful for working with both Doctors' offices and Insurance companies alike. Erin is honored to be a support and an advocate behind the scenes for both our clients, and therapists as they go through their feeding journey.
