Jennifer has more than 2 decades of experience helping children overcome challenges they face when it comes to eating. Using her extensive knowledge of learning, sensory processing, attachment, and motor skill development, Jennifer facilitates children's abilities to trust, understand and relate to food now and long into the future. Coaching parents into confidence around feeding their kids and family mealtimes brings her great joy and impactful results to families she serves. Jennifer supports families virtually and in-person through family mealtime coaching, remote feeding therapy, and the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program.
Heidi is a self-proclaimed “research geek”, but also has 30 years of practical experience in working with children, 25 of them with children who have feeding challenges. Relying on her training in communication, childhood development and feeding and swallowing development, Heidi helps children develop a trusting relationship with food that allows their skills to flourish. She loves helping children and families work together to develop happy and healthy mealtime communication and habits that will last and grow as they do. Heidi supports families virtually and in-person through family mealtime coaching, remote responsive feeding therapy, and the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program.
Brianna is a Certified Early Intervention Specialist and has extensive experience working with families in their homes. Brianna trains and educates parents to build their knowledge and understanding of their child’s strengths, challenges and overall development using a coaching style. With her training and expertise of oral motor skills, early childhood development, and social communication she tailors treatment specifically to each child. Using the foundations of responsive feeding at the core of her practice, Brianna helps families build happy and healthy mealtimes and home routines. Brianna supports families in-person and virtually through tube weaning, responsive feeding therapy, and family mealtime coaching.
Jamie is a certified early intervention specialist and has a vast amount of experience helping children and families in their most natural environment. Jamie has extensive knowledge and practice in responsive feeding strategies, oral motor skill development, and coaching families to build attachment and trust into their family mealtimes. She works closely with families to help rebuild their own confidence around mealtimes and restore their child's relationship with food. Jamie is a member of the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics Feeding Tube Weaning Program. She also supports families and children through feeding therapy and family mealtime coaching, both virtually and in-person.
Danielle received her B.S. degree from the University of Virginia and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Danielle is passionate about making therapy fun and tailored to the interests of the child in their natural environment. She loves meeting and interacting with families and believes in a family-centered approach to treatment. As a member of the Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics team, Danielle enjoys supporting families through feeding therapy and family mealtime coaching to help foster happy and healthy family mealtimes.
Erin worked as a nurse nearly 20 years before joining Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics as their Program Coordinator. Erin has extensive experience working with feeding tubes of all kinds, which allows her to empathize with patients and families in a different way. It also provided a certain knowledge and skill set helpful for working with both Doctors' offices and Insurance companies alike. Erin is honored to be a support and an advocate behind the scenes for both our clients, and therapists as they go through their feeding journey.
